HIFU Body Sculpting – The Process
Your concerns and needs will be assessed in a free consultation, where we will agree on the areas to be treated and carry out a patch test. Treatment can commence seven days after your patch test.
Areas that be treated:
3D Hifu Body Sculpting is the latest technology to target specific areas of fat in the fastest possible time. The HIFU hand-piece is placed on the skin and held in one area at a time. It works by delivering a 24-line matrix of focused energy at a depth of between 1.3cm and 8mm to destroy fat cells. The high frequency of the ultrasound waves results in heating under the skin, destroying the fat cells and tightening the skin in the area.
The cells are flushed away naturally through your lymphatic system for up to 3 months.
There is usually no downtime or recovery time, and most people return to normal activities right away. Results can be seen from 2-4 months post treatment. The average reduction after just one session is typically 2-4cm in the treatment area.
HIFU offers permanent fat reduction and any fat cells treated with HIFU will not return. With exercise and a healthy diet, results are even better.
Measurements and photos are part of the assessment and are reviewed post treatment.
Heat treatment (including sunbed, sauna and steam) must be avoided 2-3 days before and for one week after HIFU treatment. Avoid going to the Gym for 5 -7 days after treatment or until the area has normalised.
